A garden is the overture to the rest of your property. It says more about who you are than what you are. It can describe your tastes, passions and your sensitivity to a life surrounded by nature.
Translating a vision of your home into a welcoming and sustainable reality is what Hill And Dale Landscapes has been doing for their clients for the past 25 years. It is a partnership that will last clock and season round celebrating beauty, growth and love.
Hill and Dale Landscapes is commited to designing and installing landscapes which address the needs of the customer and environment, demonstrate creativity and balance of design elements, and achieve sustainability by incorportating native and Mediterranean climate plants requiring low amounts of water and maintenance.

Together they participated in the 1998 Carmel Garden show, in which one of their customer’s gardens was on the garden tour and subsequently shown in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. In 1999 they were again invited to the Garden Show, installing an outdoor ‘Arts and Crafts’ inspired garden that won Best Architectural Element, Best Color and Texture, and People’s Choice Awards. They also participated in the 2005 Watershed Festival in Carmel Valley, installing a demonstration garden using California native plants in a dry riverbed design enhanced with ceramic sculpture. In 2009, they were awarded the Sweepstakes, Renovation and Excelsior awards through the Central Coast Chapter of the California Landscape Contractor’s Association and in 2010 again won three awards in the categories of xeriscaping and maintenance. In 2009 a drought-tolerant landscape designed by them was chosen in a competition and was on display for 6 months at the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey. This event was put on by the Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency to inspire the public and create awareness of the importance and beauty of drought tolerant plantings and water conservation.
